Dr. Dre
Regarded as the greatest hip hop producer of all times, Andre Young, a.k.a Dr. Dre, started his hip hop career with Ice Cube and others to form the group N.W.A in 1987. After a successful stint, Dre left and joined up with Suge Knight to form Deathrow Records. Here, Dre dicovered future rap star Snoop Dogg and the two put out a series of hits from 1992-1995. Amidst minor management disputes Dre left Deathrow and formed Aftermath Records where he discover a new young rapper named Eminem. In 1999, Dr. Dre released "2001", 12 year after his first N.W.A release, which some regard as his greatest piece of work.
