Lil Wayne

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. a.k.a Lil Wayne, began his solo career in 1999 with his bebut album "Tha Block Is Hot". His successful debut album was soon followed by his 2000 release of "Lights Out" and 2002 release of "500 Degreez", both of which went gold. With the 2004 release of "Tha Carter", Lil Wayne gained international recognition and sold over 850 thousands copies. Lil Wayne is now considered to be among hip hop's elite rappers and considers himself to be "the greatest rapper alive".
