Young Jeezy
Born Jay Jenkins, Young Jeezy was born in Columbia, SC, but raised in Macon, GA. He release his first independent album, "Thuggin' Under The Influence", in 2001. After a second independent release in 2003 and caught the eyes of P. Diddy who quickly signed him to Bad Boy Records. In 2005, Young Jeezy release his debut labeled album, "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101", and sold 172,000 records in its first week. To date, he has release a total of 5 albums, with his latest, "The Recession" coming in July of 2008.
